Summer 2013
Hello there past, present, and future readers! I'm a undergraduate college student at University of South Florida; majoring in public health and minoring in business. I'm a blogger and this is my blog for this trip. This blog is a time capsule of my study abroad trip that I'm attending during the summer of 2013. I'll be spending a month in Penang, Malaysia with other USF students and be under the guidance of Doctor Boo Kwa and Doctor Azliyati Azizan at Universiti Sains Malaysia. After this program I shall journey on to Thailand. Whoo!

This is my first time out of the US and I'm excited to learn, explore, eat food, and endure this heat (Malaysia's hot!). I'm Vietnamese descent although a lot of Malaysians asks me if I'm Chinese. There will be many "firsts" on this trip and I can't wait to take it all in and share it with all of you and hope that you guys will be adventurers yourselves!

On a personal note of random facts:
Up! is a good movie. I'm the oldest of four siblings and the coolest. I have a dog named Jasper, but I really like kittens and bunnies. I like to read, write, draw, and blog; of course! I love food and trying new things! During my free time I like to catch up on TV and some of my favorite shows are Game of Thrones, Modern Family, Downton Abbey, and Sherlock Homes (UK).
I like to watch period/drama/costume TV shows and movies. A lot of people find that boring, but for some reason I prefer to watch those types of movies. My favorite movie is Marie Antoinette. My idol is Audrey Hepburn- she's simply beautiful.
I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, I enjoy the pop culture of England- the music, the movies, and the actors! I also fan girl over Lana Del Rey and Bruno Mars.
